Hi, I'm Albert.
I've always been a bit odd. I was born and raised on a tiny island in the Pacific Northwest to a rather strange set of parents who decided to "un-school" my four siblings and me. We spent our days outdoors, exploring and observing and making things. It was a good life.

Now, I still love the same things: observation (which I call noticing), exploration (which I call growing), and making things (which I call creating).

My deepest wish is to understand the nature of mind, express my unique gifts, and help others do the same.

"This is a timeless story which is so relevant to children, teens and adults. It’s a reminder to each of us to lean into and embrace our fears." ~Trish
"I love this book! It is beautifully illustrated, with a wonderfully whimsical story, funny 'swear' words that will make kids laugh (like "Garfunkle-ka-poo!") and a meaningful message." ~Julia
